Free trial period
Your trial account will last between 14 to 30 days depending on the product.
Each trial period is linked to an email account of your choice. You can easily subscribe to the service at any time during the Trial.
Dext Prepare: once your trial period is completed we will stop processing your items in Dext Prepare, they will be left under the In Processing page of the Costs Workspace. You’ll be presented with a chance to choose a subscription plan or export your data.
Please, also note that upon the expiration of your Trial we advise that you download all of your data as after 10 days from the end we may permanently delete all data without further notice. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions.
Dext Precision: once your trial period expires you’ll be given a chance to choose a subscription plan or contact the sales team for a more personalised solution.
Dext Commerce: when your trial period is complete, many of the features become limited. You’ll be presented with a chance to choose a subscription plan or continue to work in a limited capacity.
Dext does not request credit card information during the trial period. You would be prompted to give such details only if you decide to subscribe.
Data
To get the best experience with any of our software it’s recommended that you link your accounting software to Dext.
Dext Prepare will pull across your Chart of Accounts so you can apply these to your paperwork in Dext and set automations so these get assigned automatically.
We will also send the data extracted by our software, along with the images and create suppliers/customers if they don’t exist in your integrated account.
Dext Prepare: Your practice can submit transactions with Dext Prepare on your client's behalf. You can do this by a variety of submission methods available to you and your clients.
Dext Commerce: when integrations are connected, there is no need for a practice to submit data to Dext Commerce on the client’s behalf. Given your particular arrangement with your client, you may export data from Dext Commerce to your accounting file - between automated features and your client’s ability to export, your involvement in the pre-accounting process is entirely up to you.
Yes, you can set up your client on Dext Prepare to submit their invoices or receipts through a variety of methods.
Dext Prepare: While your Subscription is active we securely store your items in your Dext account for at least 10 years. You can find unprocessed transactions in your inbox and processed transactions in your Archive.
Upon cancellation of your subscription, we advise that you download all of your data as after 10 days from the cancellation we may permanently delete all data without further notice. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions.
Dext Prepare: will send all the key data we have extracted along with the actual image or a link to the image. Even, if you cancel your subscription all the data sent to your accounting software will remain there and won’t be affected.
You can also backup your items to the cloud storage providers Dropbox and Google Drive and Microsoft OneDrive (+Sharepoint). More options are coming soon.
Dext Commerce: images do not apply to Dext Commerce sales. Dext Commerce gathers this data directly from upstream providers and displays your transactions in a summary or itemized format.
