How to set up a

Dext and Zoho Books connection

By connecting Dext to Zoho Books, you sync the Chart of Accounts, suppliers, customers, tracking categories, and payment methods between the two softwares. Everything fits together.

1. Synchronise your chart of accounts

Navigate to the ‘Connections’ section of the sidebar, then click on ‘Integrations’. Find Zoho Books in the list of available softwares, then click the ‘Connect' button.

2. Upload items to Dext

Add your documents through one of our many submission methods. Take a photo on our mobile app. Upload it directly from your computer. Or email it in. Other options are also available.

3. Let the magic happen

After adding your documents, Dext will extract the data you need. Once extraction is complete, you can find the item in the inbox of the ‘Costs’ or ‘Sales’ workspaces or the ‘Processed Statements' section of the Bank workspace.

4. Review and edit

Double check to make sure all the information you need is there. You can edit and add as you see fit.

5. Publish to Zoho

When an item has all the correct settings and is ready to go, click the green ‘Publish’ button to send the item to Zoho Books.
