What’s New In Receipt Bank: August 2018

August was an exciting month with lots of new features in beta, including Bank Fetch!

We also released lots of updates to make managing your bookkeeping even more efficient. Here’s your breakdown of what’s new this month.

MORE AUTOMATION, LESS CHASING FOR PAPERWORK

REQUEST A NEW FETCH CONNECTION

Did you know with Invoice Fetch you can get Receipt Bank to collect your clients’ bills and invoices from online portals? Receipt Bank will fetch your bills from Amazon, Google Suite, Uber and many other suppliers.

Can’t find the connection you’re looking for? You can now request a new Fetch connection from the Fetch tab. If you type the supplier you are looking for and there is no result, it will give you the option to request a new connection.

BOOST EFFICIENCY

NEW FILTERING OPTIONS*

We understand the importance of productivity, which is why we are always trying to improve the way our product works so you can become more efficient in your day-to-day bookkeeping.

We’ve added new filtering options to your inbox, so you can filter by your Match items, and Archive by manually published, or auto-published items. Easily sort for paid items that can be cleared from the inbox first, before moving on to the next task.

*Xero integrated accounts only, on Receipt Bank Streamline and above.

ADDITIONAL COLUMNS*

Find all the information you need within your item inbox with the new additional columns. You can now view and filter by item ID, invoice number, due date, and base total, so you can easily and quickly find the items you’re looking for.

PAPERWORK MATCH*

If you’re a fan of Reconciled Match, you’re going to be an even bigger fan of Paperwork Match!

We’ve enhanced the functionality of Reconciled Match and given it a new name: Paperwork Match.

Paperwork Match identifies transactions that exist in Xero with no associated item. If the item is then submitted to Receipt Bank, Paperwork Match allows you to send the image across the Xero as an attachment to the original transaction – a straightforward solution for any cash-coded items!

*Available for Xero integrated accounts on Receipt Bank Streamline and above

IOS

In the coming weeks, we will be releasing another update to the Receipt Bank app for iOS. In this update, we have improved optimization of the UI for different sized screens, and ensured the app is compatible with iOS 12.

With many features currently in beta testing this month, stay tuned for more new releases in September’s product update. In the meantime, why not check out our new blog post on The Three Pillars of Digital Transformation.
