Last week, Dext had an incredible experience at Accountex London, the renowned trade show for accountants and bookkeepers. The event was a roaring success, with a bustling atmosphere and a record number of delegates. Our booth was a hub of activity, with 16 demo stations constantly occupied. It was truly invigorating to meet our amazing partners and connect with many firms who were discovering Dext for the first time.
Our event team went all out to create a memorable presence at Accountex. We offered exciting giveaways that drew a lot of attention such as smoothies, wildflower seed boxes, pairs of socks and tote bags. These little touches added to the overall buzz around our booth.
We were also honored to have our CEO, Sabby Gill, join Will Farnell for a panel discussion with AppAdvisory Plus. Additionally, our VP of Strategy, Paul Lodder, took the stage alongside Paul Aplin to discuss basis period reform and how Dext products can contribute to successfully navigating them. The session presented by Katie Hawkings and Freddie Minns on using data to grade and price clients was lively and the positive feedback was overwhelming.
The conversations we had with delegates were powerful and inspiring. It was gratifying to witness the passion our customers have for Dext. We engaged in meaningful discussions and received valuable feedback and ideas for future enhancements. It's these conversations that fuel our drive to continually improve our solutions and better serve the needs of accountants and bookkeepers.
One of the highlights was showcasing our newest feature in Dext Prepare, Multi Account Management. Attendees hailed it as a game-changer and even life-saving.
The previews of the Dext Precision Insights dashboard also garnered significant interest and praise. It was evident that the power of data-driven insights resonated strongly with accounting professionals.
That sentiment was shared by those who had the chance to look at Dext Commerce. We saw record interest levels in Dext Commerce as the digital trading and e-commerce sectors continue to thrive.
We want to express our gratitude to Xero for hosting us on their stand. Our enduring partnership with Xero has been integral to our journey, and it was wonderful to continue that tradition at Accountex.
The event featured a range of sessions and workshops, and one session that stood out was the Future of Tax with AI, presented by Rebecca Benneyworth alongside Paul Aplin. It left us eagerly anticipating the exciting possibilities that lie ahead in the realm of AI-driven tax solutions. We'll definitely be keeping a close eye on these developments.
Accountex reaffirmed our belief that we're ideally placed to help accountants, bookkeepers, and their clients focus on what truly matters. The event provided us with a wealth of opportunities and invaluable insights. The positive feedback we received from attendees further reinforced the significance of face-to-face connections in this digital age.
Looking ahead, the future couldn't be more exciting. We have lots of plans, and the releases will keep on coming as we build on the momentum generated by Accountex. In the meantime, mark your calendars for the Digital Accountancy Show on June 15th at Battersea Park. We'll be there, ready to continue shaping the future of accounting together.
Accountex was an extraordinary event, and we extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who made it a remarkable experience. We can't wait to reconnect with all of you at the next opportunity.
